Meet Sam, Neil and your fellow travellers at 14:00 (2 PM) in Trellis Bay, just a 5 minutes walk from the airport and get settled into your private en-suite cabin on Nemo. After Neil gives the guest briefing we will set sail across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to The Baths in Virgin Gorda. During this sail, you can learn the ropes and try your hand at the helm. We will have our first yummy dinner on Nemo.
Wake up in heaven! The Baths are incredible, with huge, house-sized boulders literally piled on top of each other. There are several paths through the boulders that lead to Devil’s Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the British Virgin Islands. Go snorkelling in the Baths, or take the kayak or paddleboard around these incredible rock formations. Mid-morning we will start to tack up towards Richard Branson’s Neckar Island, during which you can get some great hands-on experience helming Nemo. We will have lunch on the go, as we head up to Gorda Sound. We will then head ashore for cocktails and back to Nemo for dinner on board.
After breakfast, we will sail to Anegada, where the locals are always friendly and the fun never stops. Known as the drowned island, this low-lying coral and limestone sand bar is said to have claimed nearly 300 ships! With Captain Neil, who is also an RYA Cruising Instructor, there is no need to worry though, and when we get there you can enjoy Anegada’s miles of sandy beaches and lobster! We aim to get there in time for you to explore the island reefs, beaches and many beach bars and will head ashore for a delightful lobster dinner.
Another really fun sail today, with lots more time for you to practice your sailing skills. We will be heading towards Cane Garden, a delightful bay perfect for a refreshing swim after a fun day sailing. Dinner will be served on board Nemo.
What could be better than a day spent snorkelling and exploring sandy islands with palm fringed beaches and turquoise waters! Perhaps you would like a cocktail or two thrown in for good measure ;-). We will sail to Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke for a cocktail and dinner at Foxy’s Beach Bar.
After breakfast, we will sail past the USVIs to the Indians, a truly fabulous snorkelling area. We will then sail over to Great Harbour on Peter Island where we can visit the new home for Willie T’s floating bar and have a delicious dinner on Nemo.
After breakfast, we will sail to the Wreck of the RMS Rhone for a refreshing snorkel. This is an amazing wreck snorkel experience – not to be missed, especially when snorkelling through the air bubbles from the divers below. After snorkelling, we will sail to Cooper Island for our last meal on board.
We will sail back to Fat Hogs Bay and Penn’s Landing Marina, giving you a chance for some final sailing practice. You will be ready to head to the airport from around 10:00 (10 AM).
