Meet Sam, Neil and your fellow guests at 2 PM (14:00) in Port Lois Marina to start your Christmas sailing holiday in Grenada. The airport is approximately 25 minutes away in a taxi. Once you are settled in your private cabin on board Nemo, we will provide a guest briefing and then we will head straight out to anchor! Our first stop will be Molinere. This is an incredible underwater sculpture park is a great place for your first snorkel. After we will have a delicious dinner on Nemo and kick-off the holiday celebrations in style!
After a sumptuous breakfast, we will sail up the west coast of Grenada. A truly luscious green island that provides a hint of spice in the wind. Neil will start showing you how to sail Nemo and if you like you can have a go on the helm or being crew. Our destination for the evening will be Tyrell Bay in Carriacou. After popping into one of the many rum shops along the beach, we can head to a restaurant for a delicious dinner ashore.
We will have a short sail to Sandy Island before breakfast. This sandy bar is a great place for a snorkel and for taking pictures on a deserted island! We will then have another short sail to Union Island our first stop in St Vincent & The Grenadines for lunch. Here we can also head to see Mr King on Happy Island and partake in a cheeky afternoon cocktail if you so desire! After cocktails, we will have an hour sail to the beautiful Chatham Bay. We love this Bay as it is really great for snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding.
Christmas Eve will see us sailing around marvellous Mayreau. We can stop in Windward Bay for lunch inside the reef or Saline Bay and then we will get a mooring ball in Salt Whistle Bay for the evening. This is a wonderful coconut tree lined beach, fabulous for taking a stroll along and for checking out the kite surfers. Our dinner this evening will be served on board Nemo.
There is nothing like waking up at Christmas on a boat in the Caribbean! Just a short sail away is the stunning Tobago Cays. Here we have some incredible snorkelling, and hopefully, you will get to see Hawksbill Turtles munching on the seagrass. We can use Dory the Dinghy to explore all the islands in the Cays and get out the kayak, paddleboard and water toys for some Christmas fun in the water. The reefs here are amazing, so this is the perfect spot for some Christmas snorkelling. This wonderful anchorage will be our home for a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Boxing Day will see us pop to Petit Tabac, a tiny deserted island just before World’s End Reef and one of the locations in the Pirate of the Caribbean movie – Curse of The Black Pearl. Then we have an all-day sail to Bequia, one of the most beautiful islands in the Grenadines. We will arrive later in the afternoon, giving you time to take a stroll along the waterfront walkway or jump of the back of Nemo for a snorkel in the lovely turquoise waters. Cocktails and dinner will be ashore in one of the many wonderful restaurants.
After a leisurely morning relaxing and playing with all the water toys in this beautiful bay we will have lunch and then sail to Young Island for our last night anchorage. We can pop ashore for cocktails at the Young Island resort and then we will have dinner on board.
If you have the energy this morning, we would highly recommend a walk up 200+ steps on Fort Duvernette where you will get to see stunning views of the south of St Vincent. We will then motor to the Blue Lagoon Marina on St Vincent for a noon departure to the airport.
