Meet Sam, Neil and your fellow guests at 14:00 (2 PM) in Marina Bas du Fort, Pointe-a-Pitre. The marina is just 10 minutes from the airport. Once you are settled into your cabin we will have a guest briefing and then we will set out for Îlet du Gosier, a tiny island that offers us the perfect location to get into the swing of our sailing holiday, with our first dinner under the stars!
After a delicious breakfast, we will set sail for Marie Galante. This is a quiet island with beautiful golden beaches enclosed by world-class coral reefs, which is why it is so appealing! Our first stop on the island will be St Louis anchorage on the North West of the island. Once we arrive, soak up some rays, jump in the water with the snorkel or try out the kayak and SUP. We will have dinner on Nemo.
After another relaxing breakfast and perhaps a morning swim, we will move down the coast to Grand Bourg which will give us the chance to spend the day exploring islands historic sugar mills and of course it would be remiss not to visit one of the two rum factories on the island. After we can head back to Nemo for a swim and sundowners before another yummy dinner on board Nemo.
This morning we will have a downwind sail to the beautiful archipelago of Îles des Saintes. We will anchor near the Pain à Sucre for lunch and then Anse Fideling on Terre D’en Bas for the evening. This is a tiny anchorage with very little ashore, so dinner will be on board
Îles des Saints has many amazing anchorages, so we will have a change of scenery and anchor at Terre-de-Haut today. This gives us time to explore the picture-perfect island village. After a wander around town, jump on a scooter and head to one of the amazing beaches such as Pompierre or perhaps visit Fort Napoleon for a little bit of history. We will have dinner ashore at one of the many fabulous seafront restaurants.
Today we will set sail for Pigeon Island, just of the coast of Guadeloupe’s West Coast. Pigeon Island is the home of the famous Jacques Cousteau Underwater Reserve. It is just like jumping into a fish tank, so here you can snorkel, kayak or paddleboard and should you wish to go diving, a dive centre is nearby. We will relax and explore and then have dinner on Nemo.
After some more time at this stunning park, and a hearty breakfast we will set sail up the coast to Deshaies, the set for British TV Series ‘Death in Paradise’. Once we get there, we can head ashore to look around, have a sundowner and then our final dinner together will be ashore.
Enjoy a last morning swim off the back of Nemo in the tropical waters before departing to the airport at 10:00 (10 AM). It is a 45-minute journey by taxi to the airport.
Information about airports and airlines can be found on each of the island destination pages. Further information relating to all our crewed yacht charter is available on the FAQ pages.
