A Sailing Holiday with Lasting Memories

Saint Lucia is the perfect destination. A genuine, natural landscape of gorgeous palm-fringed beaches, miles of unspoilt rainforest and the majestic Piton Mountains, are sure to satisfy every taste. Natural waterfalls, breath-taking views, friendly locals and authentic culture impress the most travelled individuals for a sailing holiday with lasting memories.

For a sample sailing itinerary with BlueFoot Travel click the ‘Map’ button at the top of the page.

The Island

Rodney Bay in the north of the island is packed with hotels and sailing yachts. Hobie cats from the hotels wind their way through the beautiful anchorage which has Pigeon Island at one end of it. Pigeon Island is a National Park with beautiful beaches and a wonderful fort with obligatory canons.

As you head south you come to Marigot Bay, a picture-postcard bay with the wonderful Capella Marina. We often anchor or take a mooring ball here, to take advantage of the incredible snorkelling and many restaurants.

Picturesque Soufrière further south draws visitors looking to catch a glimpse of its old fishing port, sulphur springs, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.  A hike up the Gros Piton unveils a view like no other. On your way, you can marvel at what lies beneath the lush jungle canopy — a variety of colourful flora and fauna. And in the rainforest, you may be lucky enough to spot the Saint Lucian Parrot, an indigenous and wonderfully colourful parrot.

Saint Lucia is perfect for those of you on the lookout for warm rays, sand, surf, and a place to unwind with a rum punch and a good book on board Nemo.
