Lobster BBQ in St Vincent & The Grenadines!
Today marks the end of the lobster season here in St Vincent – boo hoo ?!
From the 1st May until 31st August it is illegal to catch or sell the local spiny lobster, which is good as they need a break!
For those of you who haven’t tasted the local spiny lobster, they have a very delicate flavour and the main part you eat is their tails, although you can get deliciously messy cracking the very spiny hard shell.
We don’t cook lobster on Nemo….we just don’t have a big enough galley or pot, but we do love lobster and so do our guests!
We love bbq lobster, lobster sandwiches, lobster pizza, you name it, if it has lobster in it, we love it.
And luckily we have some favourite places to eat lobster here in St Vincent & The Grenadines, so check them out when the season opens again!
Free Willy Tobago Cays with his chef Bets have the most delicious barbecue lobster (and conch!) in Tobago Cays.
Venessa & Seckies Sunbeach and Eat Restaurant and Bar in Chatham also do a lobster BBQ to die for!
Mac’s Pizza & Kitchen in Bequia is the place to go for Lobster Pizza (or any pizza for that matter!).
And Four Shells Bar on mainland St Vincent is another winner for lobster and snapper!
What is your favourite Caribbean lobster eating spot? ?? #lobsterlover
